We believe that the ideal scenario for a seminary student is to combine the theological development that takes place in the classroom with practical, hands-on ministry in a local church environment. Hands-on ministry heightens the importance of the classroom, while the classroom enriches and deepens your ministry.
In the first semester of the CLR, the resident will serve on a rotational basis in three areas of ministry of their choosing and approved by the CLR leadership. For the remainder of the program the resident will serve, primarily, in one of the three areas of ministry. A typical week in the residency will include 15 to 20 hours of ministry in addition to classes and homework.
